But i want to replace the police transporter for a car. How i do that.

I think police transport Car files goes into the x64e slot.."Policet"

In openiv? but where then.

\x64e\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf, I believe that is the one. So just rename your car file to "policet" and replace it in the vehicles.rpf

There are multiple ways, you can put it in GTA V>x64e.rpf>levels>gta5>vehicles.rpf

I put vehicles into GTA V>update>x64>dlcpacks>patchday5ng>dlc.rpf>x64>levels>gta5>vehicles.rpf   so if it doesn't work or crashes the game I can simply delete it without worry about backups, if you put it in x64e it'll replace, if you put it in patchday5ng it'll overwrite.

 

Or you could make a mod folder but I don't know how that works.

i found it, but i want a regular police car instead of the transporter. what i need to change.

You hit edit mode, then drag and drop the vehicles files into the vehicles.rpf
