So the infamous dull-lights problem, i am having it.

I am posting here but it does have to do with FR.

The lights on my cruisers are ELS, and they work perfectly besides 1 thing; the LED's themselves.

I downloaded a few mods trying to fix it, and the Radience mod by BX, and nothing has changed still. (I don't know if this is what's holding it back, but in the installation it says to replace the taxi signs with the new ones, but i haven't been doing that because i don't know how and it doesn't say how. But i don't think this can intervene with the rest of the mod working?).

Mine shine on other buildings and all just fine, but the lights themselves are so dull you don't even notice them hardly.

I've also tried increasing the emissive settings in the visuals file, in both my root and TBOGT folders, and it hasn't fixed anything.

Here is an example, this users lights GLOW and look realistic, whereas mine are dull and pale. Please help?

you replaced the wrong file, take bxbugs visualsettings.dat and put it into the TBoGT/common/data :)

I did that as well, i tried it in the root folder + then in the TBoGT location. Neither has changed anything. :[

There's an EFLC one and IV one. Which are you using? Like Break said, make sure it's the right one.

Also, in the video, the maker is using wmai's ENB for FR. That's why the lights are like that.

Alright, so i ended up replacing the visual data file with my original backup, THEN i put it all into the TBoGT folder and it works so much better now, thanks to everyone! also, 1 other thing. We all know about the icEnhancer or something like that, 2.0 is out now i know that.

But is there an equivalent like that in which i can use on my EFLC? Again, mine is the Steam version thus being up-to-date automatically. A direct link to one that will work with my version would be helpful if you know of one.

Yo, you can use the 2.0 icenhancer on EFLC and 1.0.7.0 as far as I know. There are 2 folders when yo download the ice - for 1.0.4.0 and for 1.0.7.0/EFLC.

My version is 1.0.8.0, latest on Steam. Gonna go ahead and download the 2.0 enhancer and install properly though, fingers crossed that it works.

Yo brother 1.0.8.0. doesnt even exist. 1.0.7.0 is latest patch.

Btw, thers 2.1 ICE W.I.P. Think its gona be released soon. Its gona be compatibile with all patches for GTA and EFLC.

Oh, well when i went into the folders and Right-Click properties on my launchEFLC.exe, and then previous versions tab, it says current version is 1.0.8.0, but could be mistake or something, not sure.

And thanks! :) should i hold off or go ahead and try out 2.0? I don't want it to mess up my game though.. :/ They should write somewhere what all it supports..

I think the most current EFLC version is 1.1.2.0

Well, maybe the game treats the EFLC like a patch after 1.0.7.0 so 1.0.8.0? Ok nvm.

You do not have to hold off and worry about your game! Just backup it. Copy your main game folder to another location and u can replace it in case you need it.

As I said before, You can run ICE 2.0 on EFLS. Just make sure, when you download it, you replace correct files. Ice la Glace makes it very clear. Read the istructions.

EDIT: 1.0.7.0/EFLC version doesnt look so nice like the 1.0.4.0 version, its still much beeter than stock tho.
