I bought an Asus rog g20 and its a beast. Can't recommend it though, as its a slim form factor. You can't upgrade it and it tends to run hot sometimes. The Asus rog g27 is a better option... building a custom rig is even better. If you can....I was just lazy and bought my rig.

  • I'm really new here. I got LSPDFR working two days ago and I've fallen in love with it ever since. I've been watching videos of LCPDFR and LSPDFR for a year or so and I now have a powerful enough

  • Define max settings, because I don't believe you. I'm sorry but a 500 dollar computer isn't going to play GTA5 on 'max settings'. Are you playing at 4k resolution, 8xMSAA, 16x Anisotropic Filtering an

Ok... I lied, I am up to $1,400 now. Might as well go balls out.

$1400 isn't entirely bad, When i first built my PC 2 years ago (time flies) it was $1700, and that was just for the parts. over the 2 years i've spent a lot more money on it.

my entire PC setup is around $3000-$4000. Although that's including peripherals, monitors and a new graphics card (TITAN X). PC gaming is expensive, but considering the results and how much better the graphics are compared to console. it's worth it.

I should also say my build is in AUD which is like double the price of USD. So for your PC it's actually a pretty good price since in AUD that'll be like $2000+

The 8GB RAM, while not useful now, will be as games progress to use more VRAM. And the 390X goes toe to toe with the GTX 970 pretty well, even beating it in some situations on some games - for less money.

Honestly, I am playing GTA V on max everything at 1080p and still getting smooth frame rates. Not sure the exact FPS because I haven't had my overlay up yet as I just got the game last night, but I will check it out when I get home from work.
