well can you compare my screenshot of my programs and features to yours and see if they match?

by the way are you using pro or home and what version of 10? as to be honest rockstar doesn't support v on 10 yet according to them when I asked for help to similar problems like yours.

I got it to enable itself. I had to temp. disable my anti-virus which I guess was blocking it.... logic.

Why does it say I have .net framework installed where I enable it, but not on my programs & features list?

okay so your antivirus was blocking it?

what antivirus do you have?

as if you have norton please throw that in the trash and get a better antivirus like avast!

as I use the avast! free business security and not once has it caused me this much misery.

I do use avast. And infact ive had many problems with it. The problem is, is that it is too good at its job. It seems to block everything. e.e

Now to see if the mod works.

Ok, so far its 'stuck' on the RAGEpluginhook loading screen e.e. Or its just actually loading the mod this time.

UPDATE:

It does not work. When Im about to get into gta it says "Enjoy" then the whole application goes away and im back to a vanilla gta?

timnboys can't u help us with doing it via teamviewer?

This is weird, now I think that I got .net framework working. Im going to do a fresh install of gta v, and start again .-.

Its working!!!!!  The problem was that I made 2 copies of the game. One named 'Grand Theft Auto V' the other 'Grand Theft Auto V - Mods'.  The directory with the mods in, needed to be called 'Grand Theft Auto V' therfore steam would boot up the correct directory. 

 

Works perfectly. Thank you 'timnboys' for your help! I appreciate it, so much.

i renamed it back to Grand Theft Auto V, but it still doesn't work. ragehook won't load

I would reinstall everything again. First keep it easy with no extra addons. FIRST, LSPDFR. Then, update the ragehook. Should be good.

i need to copy all the files in the LSPDFR folder into main directory? 

and then transfer all the ragehook files over and replace them?

No. Not unless you want to play GTA V Multiplayer.

If you have a vanilla copy of GTA V (Plain, no mods, just GTA V) Make another copy of that which you can put your mods in, and delete the one you have now. Therefore you now have a new directory to work with and everything can be done again, fresh. I always keep a fresh clean install of GTA V. Make sure to rename the file to 'Grand Theft Auto V' if you want to play with mods, or without (for multiplayer)

It takes a while to make a new directory because the game is like 60GB

you do know you should follow my instructions a few pages back like for example

do not copy all files from LSPDFR as the current download has a old ragehook in it .20 you need to only copy the plugins folder, lspdfr folder, and LSPDFR Readme.pdf do not copy anything else please

but first before I go further I suggest that you install the latest ragehook .29 first and then put lspdfr in like the above instructions I said show.

if you are using scripthookv mods or scripthookvdotnet mods yes.

You dont need scripthook if your just having LSPDFR with no extra mods. For example, if you want a trainer, you need scripthookV.
