Its not my fault thats as much as I can spend. Im not rich. Im just trying to find a laptop that can actually run the mod. Because the computer I have cant run the mod. I dont care about lag I just want to play the game. Im looking for a used alienware computer on ebay.

If your looking for budget, don't look for alienware, trust me, that's the last thing you want for a budget PC.

Again, you really should build your own, but there are some places like IbuyPowerPC that have decent pricing.

I doubt it will. If I told you my current PC can run GTAIV maxed out with an ENB with 100 FPS, would you believe me? I have a Radeon HD 4350, an AMD Phenom II 910 and 8gb of memory. Do you even know w

  • Is that even a PC? Regardless, can you post your specs please?

Aw hell naw. That thing will either blow up or implode when you play GTA.

Ok. But so the second computer I posted just couldnt run the mod at all or just would be laggy sometimes. Because as I said before I do not mind lag sometimes. I just want to run the game and mod. So my question is, can it run it at all?

I highly doubt you will be able to get GTA IV including the mod to work on there, I have seen people get GTA IV to work on very, very low systems, but the game is practically unplayable at best.

Ok thanks for the help. This is the last one. This one is the one I was going to get in the first place but wanted to see if the other ones will run it because I cant get this one (if it will run it) untill the end of the month. If this cant run it I may just not be able to play the game because this is my last option so I really hope it works!

Processor: Intel

What PC do you have now? I can help you find upgrade parts.

I have a laptop and I heard you cant replace graphic cards in laptops and its mostly my graphic card is the reason.

The above PC is even worse than the first.

Get a desktop.

EDIT: I'll look around for you. What's the tippy tippy top brim of what you will spend?

I really didnt want a desktop because I dont want to stay in the same place when I play my game. But it seems like thats going to be my only option. Do you know any cheap desktops that can run it?

Ok, the best I can find is this:

(The one in the middle)

Even then, you'd be lucky to get 15 FPS. Unless you add on that video card for $90.

Thank you! I will probably buying that at the end of the month. That is a good price!

EDIT: I gave you a +1 :) Thanks alot!

2nd EDIT: That one is nice. Unfortunitly I cant buy it untill the end of the month. Is there any for $350? Thats the highest I can pay for THIS month. If not I would have to wait untill the end of this month.

I think I just need to upgrade my video card!! It is a laptop so I didnt think I could replace it but best buy said they could. I did a test on systemrequirmentslab.com and heres my results:

green_checkmark.gif CPU Minimum: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8GHz, AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4GHz You Have: Intel

I don't think they can. Just save up for the one I posted. Get the one I posted and then save up again and get a new video card and maybe a Power unit, and you'll have a top notch PC.

They said they can. I will ask them later to confirm thats true. And if I can just upgrade I might do that instead of getting a whole new PC. But thank you for all the help.

I would be upgrading to this video card: 512MB NVIDIA 8600+ / 512MB ATI 3870+

So if I upgraded to that and with all my other specs could I actually run the mod?

How the hell does that even work... You have an integrated chip, I doubt there's any ports open... The only way to change the video card on that is to replace the entire motherboard, which will end up costing you alot more. I'd go for the desktop.

Well let's see.. A motherboard would probably be anywhere between $60-140 for a laptop. Then, a video card would maybe be around $60-120, they might need to swap the power supply to support the new video card, so that's another $40 or so. You're looking at about $160-350 worth of upgrades, maybe more if there's other parts need replacing. That's less than the PC I put up, but the PC has way better specs and you can easily upgrade it.

In short, ditch the laptop, go desktop, take it as an investment, something that if you come into some money, you can upgrade it, while yes, its a Dell, and there not "That" Customization as a custom case, you can still at least upgrade it, but I keep saying this and I'll keep at it, you really, really should think about building your own custom PC....

Building on even on top of that, that laptop will be outdated within the next year or so, and you'd be stuck with a multi hundred dollar piece of plastic and metal. Atleast a desktop you can just order a part and pop it in.
