My computer isn't letting me unset the Read Only flags on the necessary folders, and advice online is unhelpful (it says that it doesn't even matter; evidently, the LCPDFR installer cares). Is there a way to completely install the taser from scratch?

Hmm that's weird. I have been having an issue with mine lately as well, I can spawn it on my side however I cannot draw it, (Alt+ T the second time) I just pull my firearm.

If you give yourself security permission it doesn't work? I believe Sam posted the Taser model on here, but I couldn't find it. If you can't find the model send me a pm I have a copy.

Maybe install to desktop, get the taser files, and then use Spark/Open IV to install.

I have the files; is that the only change made? In that case, why's it need /common/data access?

To get the tazer info I think. Not sure, but it does seem to be changed...

I have a working install on IV. If anyone knows the specific files changed, I can copy those over.

before you do that I had a problem getting my taser deployed as well untill I found an alternate key command. Try pressing and hold the left ctrl+alt and the T button. That is how I got mine to come out

It's not a problem with using it, it's a problem with installing it.
