Yellow Lights

Featured Replies

Hello,

I installed the "Improved Spotlight and LED v7.0.5" mod, but have a problem where my red lights are yellow. I also have a problem where the white flood lights and brake lights stay on. The readme gives a fix, but says not to do it if you are using a police car. There is also supposedly a fix for the yellow lights, but it is only for the stanier. I am using the CVPI and the Ford Explorer. How do I fix this? Below are images of the problem.

Thanks!

I heard someone say you can change them even if you are using a modded vehicle.. I don't remember where. But if you don't want to risk it, the radiance mod by bxbuggs is really good. And it doesn't leave the indicators om

You need to edit the visualsettings.dat and change it in order to turn those indicators off. The Improved Spotlight and LED Lighting V7.0.5 has the instructions on how to do this in the readme.txt file.

The visualsettings.dat file can be found under the following string: GTA V (root directory) > update > update.rpf > common > data

The settings below are the settings to fix the indicators.

car.indicator.day.emissive.on 10.00
car.indicator.night.emissive.on 10.00
car.indicator.day.emissive.off 0.30
car.indicator.night.emissive.off 0.003

Otherwise if you don't  want to do the editing then as ratt0114 mention the radiance mod is a good mod as well.

I tried the radiance mod and the lights are still yellow.

Ah I read the original post incorrect. I am not sure why your lights look like that

Mine turned yellow too out of the blue, and no matter what I do I cant get them to turn back red. I dont know what caused it, since its BX buggs crown vic and Charger, n they started out red n then one day were yellow

I'm having the same issue upclose my lights look yellow but from far they look yellow I have tried numerous things such as putting the post game fix higher and that made it brighter but didn't change the color upclose to red and blue lights
