Modding is like learning math, once you do it enough, it's like nothing.

First, post your PC Specs.

Second, LCPDFR uses an auto installer, and will install the required files for you to play. You will also be able to choose some options in the installer, like choossing to install the taser, Hardcore mode, etc...

Third, it is not hard to install ELS or vehicle mods. I would use ELS V5 or ELS V6. Some users have found V5 to be more stable. To install car mods, you will need to download a tool called Spark IV. There are quite a few versions, some are meant for GTA IV, some are for EFLC, and some are meant for both.

Lastly, it is not hard to install car mods from this website, since you install them the same way as other car mods from other web sites.

What's your video card ?

1) it might be because of your RAM, Graphics card, etc.. ALSO make sure you updated to the latest patch (1.0.7.0) -plenty of youtube videos showing how

2) its VERY simple to get LCPDFR working, all you do is run the auto-installer

3) ELS isnt THAT difficult, but I'd suggest you watch videos, and read the README's

4) This is where things get hard. The first few times I tried to change the cars, I ended up having to reinstall my game (aprox 3 times) I HIGHLY suggest you make back ups before you do anything, and once you do change a card, make sure it worked before you back it up again (repeat everytime you go to make a change or after you make a change) And once again, i HIGHLY suggest you watch youtube videos.

PS. People will say to use OpenIV I've tried using this and personally dont like it, I use SparkIV and love it!! Search "how to replace gta iv cars with sparkiv" -something will come up

Your going to have to get a better computer. Until then there is nothing any of us can do for you.

GTAIV is probably one the MOST power hungry games out there, what you spent on that laptop you could have bought custom part's and built a custom rig, i paid AFTER the upgrades around $800.00-$850.00 Canadian and still can't run the game on max setting's, plus if you want to install high poly mod's your just BEGGING for your computer to burn out, i would take it back and tell them it's not what you were looking for also, you can't upgrade a laptop.

If they don't want to give your money back, threaten them with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) nobody want's problem's with them, chances are they won't want to give your money back cause they make commission off of the sale, if they did give your money back they lose the commision.
