What causes these problems, and how do I fix them?

OK so here's the issue I am having. So I pull a ped over, do the traffic stop, in this case the ped has a gun on him and he decides to run. I chase him down and arrest him. Upon walking back to my car and his, his car has despawned. The worst part of this issue is that we didn't even run out of the view distance. This has happened before just looking away from the vehicle. What causes this and how do I fix it?

Second issue is somewhat related to the first. If I chase a ped for a bit then come back, his car is usually gone, however my car is locked and even I can't get in it. I want to blame More Control V for this, as it locks your vehicle for you automatically, but I am not sure. Any ideas?

And I think Because You Don't Read "ReadMe" Carefully And The Most OF those Plugins Doesn't Support RPH 0.24 And Many Support It...So

Cars despawning is just regular GTA V behaviour, and I don't think there (currently) is a way to fix it.

As far as the locked car goes, that does sound like MoreControlV. It's probably a good idea to check the ReadMe and ini file for controls and/or an option to turn off the locking thing or at least find the keys to unlock your car again.

Hi there, I'll answer your questions for you as I have a fair amount of experience with these.

GTA V will "handle" any vehicle that has been left in a place where it is not supposed to be. It often does this either by straight up despawning it or it will sometimes assign a random ped to steal the vehicle and drive it out of existence.

The game draw distance is not entirely accurate, in fact only about half of what you see is actually an entity/exists. The other half is merely a placeholder for when you get close enough. The issue with running lots of scripts is the memory gets allocated to the scripts and that means the cars get despawned a lot faster than they should in theory. but equally this isn't always the case and the game can just delete the cars anyway.

This problem caused issues for police patrols, so like you said MoreControlV saves the player's last vehicle. It makes it persistent (forces it to be saved in memory and not be despawned. You can save a car in Los Santos and fly a helicopter to Paleto Bay and back and the car will still be where you left it PROVIDING you didn't exit the helicopter.
As for the vehicle locking, an override mechanism exists for if the locking system fails, or your script crashes etc. Use LShift, LCtrl and the unlock key (default L) will force unlock the nearest vehicle to the player.

Lastly as super stated, read the configuration file with MCV to see how the locking works, there are a couple of options there for automatic unlocking etc.

I have read all the ReadMe's, reprogrammed keys, and setup each plugin individually to my personal preference. With all due respect but your reply is totally useless and you shouldn't of even bothered replying as you are just totally wrong. Every plugin I have is confirmed compatible with my RH version as well everything works fine, other than the two issues I have mentioned in this thread. Additionally MANY popular LSPDFR YouTuber's use all the plugins I have, and then some. Nothing wrong with using "all" these plugins. In fact only two of them interfere with each other, but that is easily fixed with a key binding charge.

Thank you for this detailed reply, I appreciate it. I figured it was just the game, however as I said it does happen even if I just look away from the vehicle for a moment (sometimes). Would the persistence mod help or fix this? Also, shouldn't LSPDFR tag a vehicle that is on a stop not to disappear, like MCV does for your own personal vehicle?

In regards to the locking, I honestly thought MCV Unlock Vehicle key combo only worked if you manually locked it, not for the auto lock, didn't even think of that to be honest. Thanks for letting me know, easy fix :)

Thank you for your helpful reply.

I Am Sorry For Trying To Help You....

Let's be honest, you were not trying to help, you were basically going out of your way to be a smart ass and say "read the read me" and " why are you running all these plugins". It's like someone asking a question and you tell them to go Google.

Typing Like This Is Still Stupid.....
