I currently have 0.22 of RageHook, my question is, if I update it to 0.24 will it break mods that work on 0.22?

I know that The upgrade from 0.20 to 0.22 broke a lot of animations,  will the upgrade from 0.22 to 0.24 break them once again?

Most likely yes, As far as i know no mods are compatible with 0.24, Although don't take my word for it. More to the point, why upgrade? if 0.22 works with all your mods stick with it.. what's the point of upgrading? if it's not broke, don't fix it =)

I want to use HeroCop 0.2 but apparently I need RageHook 0.24 :(

There were no major changes between 0.21, 0.22, 0.23 and 0.24 that would cause mods to break. the reason 0.20 mods we're broken with 0.21 onwards was because the return type of the animation task was changed.

Nothing like that has been done since so in theory most mods (if upgraded to 0.21 or above) will work with 0.24. Mods still using 0.20 that use animations will continue to break with 0.24 when requesting the animation task.

 

Unlike the update from 20 to 22, 24 doesn't change much, meaning that all scripts that work on 22 should work on 24
