So I have been using lcpdfr  0.95 for a long time . I decided to upgrade to 1.0 . In some instances the game launches but when I press p or alt p nothing happens . On other occasions the game crashes what can I do to resolve this issue

Please do the following: 

• Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks or people using pirated software
• Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - These patches are needed.  
• Make sure that you run the game as an administrator.
• Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only"
• Ensure that AdvancedHook.dll, ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder
• Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder.
• Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation.
• Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself.

Are you using a cracked or pirated version of the game? 

I bought the game. But when I patched it came with a launcher . I saw the tutorial and now I have a crack how do I get rid of it

Can you take a screenshot of your GTA IV directory. You shouldn't be using a crack on legal versions of the game.

Your best bet would be to delete and reinstall the game, that way the crack is completely removed.

That will yes, LCPDFR is desgined to only work on legal copies of the games, cracks will break LCPDFR (have no idea how LMS managed to do it). But if it's a legal copy with no cracks then it will work.

So all I have to do is uninstall gta iv install it run the patch and run the game ? Also I use Gta launcher does that matter

uninstall GTA IV, reinstall it, download and install the patch that willpv23 linked, then install LCPDFR 1.1 and run the game as admin and you're done.

I tried installing it but I keep getting ws10 error I patched it but When I check the properties it said 1.0.0.0

Which EXE are you trying to check and launch?
