Brazilians don't respect emergency siren.

I don't think its about lack of respect. More like traffic conditions like these don't help the situation. Not a lot a commuter can do to allow the vehicle through.

This is one of the few times friends, see the youtube it and notice the lack of Brazilian education.
I see it whenever I drive.

You know, I watched the whole thing, and nothing seemed particularly unusual or wrong throughout the video, except for one or two people being a bit confused about where to go.

I agree. The siren seems to be relatively quiet (compared to European and American standards) so the other drivers probably heard it when the ambulance was right behind them and that's too late to yield properly.

Yep, just seemed like big city traffic. Most of those people did the best they could to get out of the way. No matter where you go there will always be a few assholes who aren't paying attention or just freeze up when lights and sirens are behind them but that is just part of the job.
