  1. You mean you don't have that entry in InVehicle.xml? That's weird but you can just copy it over from OnFoot.xml because they're the same. It's: <Button> <Plugin>PoliceSmartRadio</Plugin> <Name>platecheck</Name> <Enabled>True</Enabled> </Button>
  2. First of all, this is the wrong sub-forum. Anyway, open the vehicles.meta file and replace the handling ID of your vehicle with "GRESLEY". That should give it better handling.
  3. Likewise. Which version of LSPDFR are you running? I'm on 0.4.5 and this plugin works for me. Have you followed the documentation and installed Albo1125.Common 6.6.3.0, RAGEPluginHook 0.51 or higher and Traffic Policer 6.13.6.0 or higher? When Police Smart Radio launches for the first time it prompts you to do a setup and this caused my LSPDFR to crash - perhaps because I already had a few other plugins installed. I removed all LSPDFR-plugins except PSR and Traffic Policer, launched the game and did the setup and then put the other plugins back in and that worked for me.
  4. Eigentlich braucht man nur die beiden Fahrzeuge und fügt dann in DefaultRegions.xml einen entsprechenden Eintrag ein. Wie genau das funktioniert, steht ganz oben in der Datei.
  5. I'm on v4.5 and Albo's plugins work.
  6. The siren doesn't work by default because the vehicles.meta entry that the author provided contains an incorrect line. It's in the readme file. Look for "<audioNameHash>COGNOSCENTI</audioNameHash>" and change that to "<audioNameHash>POLICE</audioNameHash>" (without quotation marks). ELS works for me so perhaps you forgot to install the ELS VCF or made a mistake.

Looks pretty cool. Did you make this or where can I find it?
  8. Download and install WinRAR. Have you copied the VCF (vehicle configuration file) that came with the car into your GTAV/ELS/pack_default folder and made sure that it matches the name of the vehicle you installed (e.g. if you installed it in the police4 slot the file needs to be called police4.xml)? Have you edited the VCF at all?
  9. Yeah I know, I just wanted to know what controller button configurations other people use.
  10. Have you figured it out? Because I'm wondering the same.
  11. Which button on a controller do you guys use to open the smart radio? I'd prefer to use it with my controller only but I can't really find a setup that doesn't interfere with other stuff or brings up the radio when I don't need it.
  12. I agree. The siren seems to be relatively quiet (compared to European and American standards) so the other drivers probably heard it when the ambulance was right behind them and that's too late to yield properly.
  13. Okay, that's too bad. I actually like that car. Thanks for your help!
  14. Hello! I recently got into LCPDFR as I don't have GTA V for PC yet and I've got a small problem. Every time I get too far away from one of my police cars the lightbar (or the lights) disappears and it seems to put the car in some sort of "low detail stage" (not sure how to call it, see screenshots below). Even a few meters are already enough to trigger that. I installed 3 custom police vehicles (Unmarked 2015 Mustang GT V1 , Cabot PD 2013 Dodge Charger PPV 1.0.0 and 2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor - Alabama State Trooper Remastered ) and the problem only occurs with the CVPI. I set the primary lights range to 80 meters and also slighty increased the range of all the other lights in the ELS.ini. All cars are compatible with ELS 8.51. I thought it might have something to do with the view distance or detail distance but wouldn't that affect all of the cars? Screenshots: #1 is the way the car is supposed to look (it has blue lights and they're on). #2 is the one where the windows look kind of odd and the lights disappear and #3 is a comparison of all cars with lights on (it's difficult to capture the lights of the Charger but they are fully visible). Does anybody know what causes this issue? I actually like the CVPI and the blue lights but it just doesn't look good if you can barely tell that it's a police vehicle because the lights pop in so late.
