Who plays GTA 5 with alot of mods on its highest possible game settings and how many fps/ how fast does it run? How is the lagging/ crashing situation? There is possibly a follow-up question.

its not that laggy, but i dont play with advanced graphics either

I have a GTX 970 and an i5 4670k, solid 60. Policeradio crashes periodically but the game almost never does. There's lag with certain operations (first arrest, first call for backup) but it only lasts a few seconds.

That short pause is caused by the script going through cluttered code Rockstar added so it causes a delay. Essentially.

I know, I'm just pointing out that hardware doesn't alleviate it.

I play with everyone on the highest at 3440x1440 get constant 60FPS with loads of mods.

I do yes. Two EVGA GTX980 SC OS .. The second was an accidental buy. When I turn v Sync off in control panel, I'm getting over 120FPS.

Mines fine running about 35 mods including LSPDFR.

what exactly is Vsync and what does it do? I never knew... I could imagine it meant "Vertical Synchronization" but I still wouldn't know what that would mean

Usually your monitor / TV will output at either 30/60Hz. What V Sync will do is ensure your FPS (Frames Per Second) do not exceed the Hz. If the game is producing more FPS than your monitor can handle i.e say 60hz then you will get screen tear.

lucky you am going to go SLI soon with MSI gtx 980s :) are you on windows 10 to?

 

Am not using any modifications yet clean install and I don't get any lag or slutter few crashes that's about it.
