This subject is not a debate on online modding, developpement team were pretty clear that it will never be updated for online.

Hi everyone, I have sugestion here that could bypass all the problems concerning LSPDFR an GTA online.

As many of you here, we all like LSPDFR and are really surprise by the quality of this Early beta release, like it's just a beta and it's already awesome! imagine in a year with all the animations in game and audio files, this is gonna be a sick adventure.

My idea/suggestions would be:

When you lauch ragehook plugin to play LSPDFR, once you launch the game you choose online mode or solo mode.

BUT

It's not the Rockstar Games online mode, it's different online mode for LSPDFR, you create a new character for this mode only. (gender, face, name etc.) you can choose various uniforms and gear. You have a different ranking system and level progression.

Too complicate/impossible?

We can always use the regular NPCs

Rank/progression system has already been discussed numerous times i believe and will not be made by G17 for various reasons.

And as far as going online, http://fivem.net/. Patience is the key. Along with using the search function provided on the forum.

I like the idea of an online mode, there are a few non rockstar online modes being created so it'll be nice to see where it leads and how LSPDFR could work with it. With ranks, that won't be a thing within LSPDFR, it's been brought up countless times across both LCPDFR and LSPDFR, and every time it's been declined because it's something we don't really want. 

However with GTA V rank patches, this might be a thing with clans. Now with the ranks of PO III, PO III+1, Sergeant, Detective etc. it will be possible to add those/add a ranking system with clans (that'll be per-clan basis and not connected with LSPDFR.

When I said ranks I was referring to the GTAO level system, but it's not even important.

Three things to keep in mind with this suggestions:

1) Play LSPDFR with your friends and clan

2) Play a unique character with customisation

3) No disruption of the rockstar games GTA online mode

The rest of it all depends on G17 media and the community suggestions

All those will happen, although your second one (play a unique character with customization) might not happen, that'll depend on the online feature and if they'll have character customization or it'll be like SA:MP with a NPC character model. 

Although you managed to put your online character in uniform and use him in LSPDFR, so that might be possible with the third party online mod. hardly no information has been released about the online aspect or if LSPDFR will support it. we'll just have to wait and see first.

Well, while waiting, next incoming updates of LSPDFR could give us the opportunity to choose additional characters from: GTA Online 2 or GTA Online 1, just like Director mode. with presets for outfits like: Curent or LSPD, for example.

It would load your online character but SP only.

I'm not saying anything. LSPDFR isn't online because Rockstar doesn't allow mods so G17 are respecting their wishes by not allowing LSPDFR online.. plus they'll just get complaints because they got banned from GTA Online because of using their mod. which isn't a good thing.

With the new Mulitplayer that's getting developed there is a possibility for LSPDFR to go online, That's all up to the Development team and whether or not they want to do that. Right now their main focus is on the mod itself, making it into something great.. whether or not LSPDFR goes online is the last thing on their minds.

oh okey, well damn RockStar, why would they?, mods keep games for centuries lol. I bought gta on pc because of lspdfr. Well, i hope in the future for an easy and lokal/hamachi/tunngle solution for it. So far i think its pretty wise to keep working on the mod itself as that of course is most important`e
