In case anyone else is in my situation (Dual partition iMac / Windows 10), it is possible to manually install the latest AMD beta drivers to get the AMD card working under Windows 10.

  • Not a dumb question at all, it's very common that a new OS's will break compatibility with certain software.

  • You...you WANT to use 8.1??? You absolute freak of nature :)  For the record, again this isn't 100%, windows 10 support may never actually get written on their specs list. They may never see it viable

I would guess the AMD card you use came with a disk or you could download them from the website normally. I know this is the case with nVidia.

So for these past few days, I've been trying to update my NVIDIA drivers for Windows 10 and always got an error so I went in Safe Mode, removed my old NVIDIA drivers, restarted my PC, redownloaded GeForce Experience, downloaded the new driver and BAM it works! :D

well that's what I thought, but when I tried the amd WHQL drivers, I kept getting "no AMD hardware detected" errors. For a while it seemed like my only solution was for Apple/AMD to get together and create new Boot Camp specific drivers. Then I found the beta drivers worked, so all is well.
