Access the LSPDFR Radio Menu or Interaction Menu

Featured Replies

Morning folks,

Wondering if it's at all possible to add an option to the LSPDFR Radio menu while on a callout.

What I'm hoping to do is - rather than having a button to end callouts - have an option in the radio menu (where person/vehicle checking etc. is) saying something to the effect of 'clear callout'. Basically to radio in saying you're clear of the scene and it would end the callout. I know I can have a button to do this but just thought it would be a little neater and more polished with an option like that.

I'd also like to add an option in there to radio for assistance from your supervisor. Basically press it and you'll get a message to guide you through the callout. Again, I know I can do this with a hotkey but it'd just be nicer to throw an option in there.

Wouldn't mind putting a request Ambulance/Fire button in there, too...

Cheers,

Kyben

I also think it would be neat for plugin developers to have access to editing those menus. The less keys I have to remember the better, especially since I prefer using a controller in GTA. For example, I think it would be better to have the features from PoliceRadio by FinKone accessible in those menus instead of having a separate GUI thing with separate controls.

I have no idea whether this is possible or not though.

My thoughts exactly.

If it's not possible we may have to look at creating a similar menu specifically for callout plugins and see if we can make it universal or something. I think that goes well beyond my skill level though.

100% This.....

  1. Would rather tie in certain addons to the initial Interaction menu for some sort of standardization. (tie them all into the MenuListItem that currently only shows "Actions" and "Radio") Not to mention that none of the Action MenuListItem's don't even work ("Idle", "Drink Coffee","Drink eCola","Eat Doughnut", "Eat P's & Q's"

  2. The Vehicle Selector menu in the Police Garage be a little more detailed. (For Example: the default cars either have one or two options. Yet it just states "Option", what the hell do these options represent? Second instead of adding a random button at the bottom to switch between liveries on cars add a MenuListItem to control this with the option to configure an ini file to set this up
