It only works on helis, if you want I can make it work with planes but it's already really difficult to aim with it in the helicopter.

Eh, I was mostly just curious... I think it would be of limited use in a plane. Nice for roleplay value - having a surveillance plane, doing aerial speed enforcement, etc, but it doesn't really work with the callout paradigm in LSPDFR.

I imagine it's difficult to fly and control the camera at the same time? Might be interesting if you could enable an AI pilot for the heli, putting the player in the passenger seat and letting them focus on operating the camera, shooting out the side door, or whatever. If a pursuit was in progress the pilot could follow the pursuit; otherwise I guess you'd have to set a waypoint or something.

Coming in Wilderness Callouts 0.5.0: The Demonstration callout. 

Can I recommend not having NOOSE peds there? Looks out of place at a demonstration. Perhaps officers with bullet proof vests, but not really NOOSE

 

Also, will the VIP callout have the prison bus?

I don't really think they are out of place, they look like riot control police.

And yes, the VIP escort will have Inmate Transport escort variant, but the escort callouts won't be in the next version(v0.5.0) because I want to have a compatible version with LSPDFR 0.3 asap

I'm just wondering if the vehicle in the inmate transport will be a prison bus

Thanks for the plug. I wanted to thank you again for letting me beta test this callout and being gracious enough to let me post videos about it. Wilderness Callouts 0.5 is going to be a big thing and provide a lot of entertainment for everyone who plays LSPDFR. @alexguirre is the man.

Wilderness Callouts 0.5.0

Wilderness Callouts has been updated to version 0.5.0. Requires RAGEPluginHook 0.34+, LSPDFR 0.3 and RAGENativeUI 1.2:

Changelog:

  • Added a new callout: Attacked police station.
  • Added a new callout: Demonstration.
  • Completely re-done suicide attempt callout. Now you can decide what to say and depending on that the suicide wil commit suicide or not.
  • Added helicopter camera. Check README.txt file for how to use it.
  • Added settings to change air ambulance and vet models and other things. Check .ini file.
  • Now binoculars movement works with the mouse and the zoom with the mouse wheel.
  • Added option to disable Ambient Events.
  • In the Ambient Event Intoxicated Person, added compatibility with Breathalyzer by Qwerasdzxc.
  • Added AI Responding audio for when you don't accept a callout. 
  • Minor improvents/bugfixes.
     

*New Suicide Attempt, Attacked police station and Demonstration callouts spawn lots of entities and this can cause some lag.

I put the UH-60L Blackhawk by SkylineGTRFreak in the Annihilator slot and specified that as the medevac helicopter and holy crap it's amazing:

Also, I've found a few quirks with the heli cam. It doesn't appear to work in any helicopter except the police maverick - the camera position is funky in all other helicopters. Also, even in the POLMAV, it constantly makes a beeping sound whenever I move the view around - it goes "dink" repeatedly as the camera moves over different objects. Here's what the camera looks like from inside the frogger and cargobob:

I will look into that crash.

And yep, the camera position isn't very good, the funny thing is that I took those offsets from the GTA V script of the mission where you use the heli camera and the beeping sound is a debug notification that I forgot to remove(you can see it in the top left corner). Expect an update during this week fixing all the current issues.
