Fraps issue

Featured Replies

I've been trying to make videos to put on my youtube channel but I'm having some issues with fraps causing major lag from time to time and wonder how to fix it the game runs between 25 and 30 fps when im not recording and it runs in the 20's when I am for the most part but at random moments it will drop down to 10 and lower for a good minute and then go back up. My game is pulling 700mb from my 1gig graphics card so I couldn't imagine its a graphic issue and I wouldn't think fraps would run off the graphics card (I could be wrong)

I'm running 8 gigs of Kingston HyperX ram and an AMD fx8120 8 core processor so its a fairly powerful machine.

The only mods I'm running are lcpdfr, a siren mod and realistic weapons sounds other than that its a clean install if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Go down with your graphic settings while recording, record to a different HDD than the one the game is running on, quit processes which you don't need.

Due to the graphic nature of this post, reader discretion is advised.
