I've reasigned keys in the keys. file at the LSPDFR folder before launching the game but the keys remain as they were in default, I pressed F4 and did "ReloadAllPlugins" and "ReloadSettings" and the keys still remain as default.

Can you open the keys.ini file and screenshot it?

Just to confirm, you actually have a numpad yeah? You arent pressing the numbers that are located above the letters on the keyboard yeah?

I do have a numpad, its not just the numpad keys its every key, for example sirens, i changed it to R but still J works(default).

Can you screenshot the whole window of the file location in which you are editing?

Yeah it should be working fine. What you can do is try adding that specific keys.ini file to the exceptions list for your anti-virus. Then restart your PC and test again. See if it registers the keybinds properly.

If you can watch this clip, i opened the console and ran ReloadAllPlugins and ReloadSettings but still the default keybinds exist again.

Didn't do anything, the next step is to redownload LSPDFR but on my first install i was fighting for my life because it kept crashing, i'll see maybe if its conflicting with any other key ingame.

If you use the in-game interface to change keybinds does it also not save? You might need to enable full read/write permissions for the game folder, for the usergroups. Although I would have suspected other issues if that was the case

The ingame interface? Only ingame i know is the main game keybinds unless there's something else. I did change it the read/write permissions but I'll check again in a few hours i am out right now.

There is another Keybind area in the dedicated LSPDFR tab. They're not mixed with the vanilla ones in the "Settings" tab.

I did print keys on the console and it shows the default keys.

Just hit ESC, it's a main tab somewhere between "Career", "Online", "Settings" etc... The Tabs you could switch left/right within the Pause Menu.

I had no idea this existed i couldn't even spot it i am dumb. It changes the keybinds now, sorry guys for wasting your time.
