Still Having Major Performance Issues in LSPDFR 0.2

Featured Replies

So, before the update, back in 0.1e, I was having hell trying to play LSPDFR due to performance issues. I was hoping the next update would resolve this, however, it seems it hasn't. I usually run at a constant 60+ FPS in the regular game, even upon loading my 4 plugins (LSPDFR, SpeedRadar, PoliceRadio, and Vehicle Search) my frames stay at a good rate. However, when I actually begin playing, I get random major frame drops/stutters, to the point where it almost seems my game has frozen. I have found that the frame drops/stutters occur only when I'm driving, I crash into something, or I pull a weapon on someone/someone pulls a weapon on me. I have no idea why these things would cause performance issues. My best guess would be that it just can't render everything in quick enough, however, I have a quite good PC. (Intel i7 4770k, GTX 970, 8GB RAM). The only overlay I have is Shadowplay so I can see my frames and record if needed. I have even disabled steam overlay. I have also tried lowering/upping the graphics settings but this does virtually nothing. I am currently playing in between High-Ultra settings. I have also tried using programs such as Razer's Game Booster to disable uneeded processes when playing. This also has virtually no impact. If anyone knows of a fix or atleast a way to help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

The latest dlc from rockstar, ill gotten gains 2 has severely impacted fps on pc versions. They already addressed this and there is no fix. Let's hope they fix it soon.

I expect rockstar will release a fix soon, as this problem is affecting most users of gta v on pc.  Either that or they will remove something which is causing the problem.  While waiting for 0.2 I optimized the hell out of gta v installation and my PC.  Even on a geforce gt 640 (2gb) and quad core amd phenom its running pretty sweet now.  Worth looking into if not done already.

Same problem here. I have the same PC (i7 3770k, GTX 970, 8 GB RAM). I play with ultra settings. Without mods it runs smooth but when I load the LSPDFR I experience fps drops and when I crash with another object it freezes. When this could have a fix? It's annoying

Sorry for my english :P

Hopefully in the next update.

I run only two trainers and openIVs modded file loader, and I'll eventually get sub 20 (down from 100+, according to FRAPS) after a while. They really screwed the pooch with the "anti-scripting" protection they added last update.
