I've noticed that a lot of people are saying their game crashes at logo screen but mine is crashing when I press story mode. Right now I'm re-downloading GTAV from steam so will update this post if it fixes the problem. LSPDFR, Radio plugin, Vehicle search, Spotlight etc were all working perfectly. Then R* updated and it all went down hill from there. I'm using all the latest Ragehook etc so will report back soonish.

Rockstar added a new Anti Mod thing into the latest update so you cant use mods, although everyone knows that they will throw an apology saying it was unintended but we know they did it intentionally!

Have you got a mods folder. You'll need to update that as it looks at that folder. 

dbanker96, yes I agree. It certainly shows R* isn't caring too much for modders!! Luckily this community has awesome people working on the fix so I'm pretty confident that we'll see these guys work out a proper solution soon.

NickCossins, yes I had a mod folder. I will be redoing that too. Still hasn't finished installing yet.. big download. I'll share what happens tomorrow. Thanks all.

What do you have to do to the "mods" folder? I took mine out to troubleshoot crashing had haven't put it back in yet. Is there something special to do?

Hi all, ok so I've fixed the problem. I know its a pain in the ass but reinstall GTA which installs with the new update. Then go through and install openiv and everything else on top. Works fine.!!! This works with the latest .2 LSPDFR as well with absolutely no crashes or issues.
