Hello guys,

Not sure this is even the right place for it but I just wanted to say thanks for your work! I was following vehicles the other day only wishing they'd pull over when I put the lights on then I found a YT vid with this mod! Awesome, very excited..only trouble is I'm installing the CD version of GTAIV right now and have never even looked at modding so all these names cited in support of programs that I need mean nothing! Totally lost in it all but I'd love this mod to work! Can anyone help a newbie out? What programs do I need to make it work? What vehicles come with the mod and can I use any police cars or does it need to be specific ones? Sorry for all the repeat questions, just so excited to give your great work a go!

Hope you guys can help a lost newbie, sorry if it's all repeat, I don't know what else to do, lost in all the names!

Thanks in advance guys,

Sam.

Looks like I've gone and done it! Please accept my apologies for the wrong section post! And accept my thanks for the quick response! I guess we get vehicles from another source , Tom?

Thanks and sorry again guys!

Thanks once again Tom. Been a great help, really appreciate it! Just giving SparkIV a go, think I've got it, put two police.wdf files into the vehicles.img I think, that sound right? Learning curve to the Flight Sim/DCS A10 modding I'm used to!

No problem :)

To completely disable keybindings open up the trainer.ini file and locate this line:

KeyBindingsDisabled //Key Bindings (except menu keys) disabled on startup

Now change the 0 to a 1 so it will now look like this:

KeyBindingsDisabled //Key Bindings (except menu keys) disabled on startup

If you are having trouble locating the line, use notepads search function by clicking EDIT, then FIND at the top. Then search "keybindings" and go through the results until you find it.

Sorted! Thanks mate! Can't wait to get playing! Just now adding vehicles and that to get my head around, will the AI use the vehicles I've added or just me when I spawn them? If I've even added them correctly! lol

Press the Right CTRL, Right ALT, and E all at the same time, if you have it disabled initially. Otherwise, press F3 to access the trainer menu. Use the numpad keys to navigate through the trainer's options and press "5" on the numpad as the enter button. Press "0" to go back a page.

Why are people so self-conscious about needing others to press the green arrow? If I helped you out, I don't care if you press it or not. The internal feeling of having helped others is good enough for me. Enjoy modding, and have fun! Also, feel free to check out my gallery for my latest screenshots!
