- Want other officers to engage/pursue a suspect? Aim at the suspect and press the number (not numpad) 3 key.

- You can cancel a traffic stop by pressing SHIFT again - you can repeat this until a chase is started should you wish.

- You can relax with a drink of coffee or talk some police jibberish into your radio by pressing 'ALT + O' then 'O' or 'ALT + I' then 'I' respectively.

- Need some firepower? The boot (or trunk for you Americans) of every police cruiser contains a 12 gauge, Glock, bullet-vest and more ammo than you can shake a baton at. (F4 at the rear of a cruiser)

- Using the frisk function (ALT + R) is a great way to make a citizen stop and wait, you can then go to another citizen and press ALT + R again to order multiple suspects to stop. Be careful though, some people may take objection to this.

- Although just for looks, use the numpad keys 7,4 and 1 to say various things, if in a vehicle you will shout various commands over the megaphone.

- The Taser is a great way to get all the 'pain compliance' you need on an un-cooperative suspect.

- You can command a partner to perform various tasks such as engaging the targeted ped (F7) and regroup at your position (F6).

- If you need to quickly subdue multiple subjects you can use the gun-point arrest feature to quickly cuff and move on to the next suspect.

- You can choose how much to fine citizens when issuing traffic or conventional citations. Be careful not to issue costly citations on a regular basis however or you may experience some problems related to co-operation.

Press the Right CTRL, Right ALT, and E all at the same time, if you have it disabled initially. Otherwise, press F3 to access the trainer menu. Use the numpad keys to navigate through the trainer's options and press "5" on the numpad as the enter button. Press "0" to go back a page.

Don't add to the slots "police1" or "police2", rename the files you download to either polpatriot, noose or fbi or your game will crash.

EDIT: to answer the question about the islands, LCPDFR unlocks them for you when you go on duty.

To completely disable keybindings open up the trainer.ini file and locate this line:



KeyBindingsDisabled //Key Bindings (except menu keys) disabled on startup Now change the 0 to a 1 so it will now look like this: KeyBindingsDisabled //Key Bindings (except menu keys) disabled on startup

If you are having trouble locating the line, use notepads search function by clicking EDIT, then FIND at the top. Then search "keybindings" and go through the results until you find it.

Before using it though, disable hotkeys in the .ini as it has spawning hotkeys and that will conflict with LCPDFR and when calling for backup you may spawn a car or helicopter.

Yes, you can get vehicles from the downloads section here or at GTApolicemods. You have to use a tool called SparkIV or OpenIV to install them and there is a tutorial available here:

No vehicles come with the mod. Its just to allow you to be a police officer. You won't need to do anything technical to install, it just installs like a program such as GTA itself.
