New police vehicle arrival for my town

Featured Replies

So as I was going by the driveway and parking lot, I noticed a pair of brand new, shinning, kick-ass, and beautiful Dodge Charger Pursuits! Sitting in the lot with the departments grey body and blue hood with spotlights and slips in the windshield. I did not have the opportunity of seeing any badging on the grille, but I remember our last arrival of the then-new 2013 Chargers were either RTs or SRTs. Well this made me wonder if anyone else within the forums lives in a town with any new car arrivals such new Chargers or Tahoes. As far as I'm concerned we're keeping the same decals so it should look like one of our old Chargers like this.

Well well! Another update my local fire district just got a new Sutphen quint, replacing an old 1980 Hahn(Engine), were keeping our 1973 Mack Aerialscope(Ladder) so the new quint will be 37-1-91, meanwhile the first primary ladder keeps the ladder designation(37-1-90)

Dodge Charger... That will be in the shop soon.  My local town has a few and they're dumping them for Explorers because of reliability problems.  They're not even a reliable civilian car in most cases, engine mounts like to break, electronics, ball joints, tie rods all have premature failure.  They look nice but they're not good.  There really isn't any good police vehicles, the Taurus is way too small inside so the only two decent options are explorers and tahoes.

I live in a relatively big area (4th largest in the US), so i see new vehicles kind of often. The specific suburb i live in is run by two offices, the Sheriffs Office (HCSO) and the Constables Office Pct. 4. The Constables are using crown vics and chargers like those, but i haven't seen the Sheriff use any chargers. They still use impalas and tahoes, but they did however start using these over the past year.
