Hey everybody...lately I have been looking around tryiing to figure out what I need to get for a good gaming desktop...I'm stuck on which processor to get out of the i7's. I think I'm going to choose between the 2700k and the 3820. Can someone help me pick which one I should I get. All I will be doing on it is just gaming, web surfing and a some school work

    I heard they aren't really fast, the i7's should be way better.

    I'd (actually I even will later this year) buy the i7-970 (6x3,20GHz) but costs more than the 2700k (I don't know what's your currency but here the prices for the 2700k is 320€ and the 970 380€).

    Those perform poorly compared to Intels, actually.
