Can't see my orange warning lights on my car

Featured Replies

Hello officers.

I noticed that my warning lights on my police cars are nowhere to be seen , they do support ELS and have it installed.

when i press J i see the orange flash but no lights , also the flash is not that bright. Its like seeing just blue and red rectangles flickering with a very tiny bit of flash , compared to other youtube videos.

I hope you guys can help me out with this problem

its really bugging me :P

sincere greets

OfficerDestiny

I don't really understand your problem.

First off, there's no such thing as ELS in GTA V. What I understood is that J toggles your hazard lights? That must be another mod doing that. You can toggle your emergency lights (blue & red's) with E.

Unless he is completely confused and is talking about an ELS car in LCPDFR which in some cases not all cars had yellow lights built into them but you could see yellow flashing on the ground in some stages.

Visit me on youtube. The most common reason for crashing is user error. Make sure you have the latest RAGE, ScripthookV, ScripthookVdotnet and turn off your antivirus. Make sure you have an up to date gameconfig.xml as well. Use Allbo's plugin troubleshooter to find any errors too.

Run notepad as administrator (Right click + Run as admin) Then open visualSettings.dat (C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\common\data) and find the visualSettings.dat file. Now hit CTRL + F and type in '# Other' (no quotations) and it should lead you to the other car lights. The line under it should be car.defaultlight.emissive.on and a number next to it. Change it to 300 or something. Then save and quit.

whew lol I have typed that out like 50 times in my life xD
