Here is the full log from when it was crashing before I tried -nodx: http://pastebin.com/b9FfVxZs. Also, aside from the console, Ragehook loads up alright in the game, I can see the box at the top left, etc.

Rightclick, Create Shortcut. Then rightclick shortcut, under target add -nodx after the quotation marks (including whitespace).

No, after the target you have to write -nodx. It may get your game to run but LSPDFR won't work because of that command will prevent the console from working.

After "destino" put a space and then -nodx. But like I said, it may get the game to run but LSPDFR won't.

@Senatov: This may work for you: Please also download the latest LSPDFR version, which includes startup.rphs. This will make the hook load LSPDFR at startup so you should be able to get it to load even without console.

I thought of that a few minutes ago and just got done unblocking everything. I am trying now.

It worked for me, now we know where is the issue;))))

Wait what do you mean by that? Was there an updated version uploaded already? The version I downloaded a few hours ago has startup.rphs included but it doesn't load LSPDFR automatically, I still have to F4 and type it in.

Now the game does not even load with the -nodx.

No, you can't run mods now, is not a solution, this is just to know what failed.

Does it help when you launch the game normally, then pause in-game, alt+tab out and then launch the hook? That should inject it as well.

Can try and run this commandline, I use it and seemed to help with stuttering and fps. While running LSPDFR and ragehook I also seem to not have troubles.

1. Create a text file named commandline.txt (just like gta4 had if messed with commands then)

2. Open with notepad and Add these lines and change the width and height to your current resolution.

-borderless
-width 1920
-height 1080
-disallowResizeWindow

this will run the game in borderless windows mode and should smooth things out some.

-optional command is

-maxthreads=8

only add this if your sure your processor has 8 threads otherwise change it to your processors max threads

No, it would just make the game crash upon Ragehook initialization.

 

However, I FIXED THE PROBLEM. What fixed it was using the latest version of LSPDFR (with self-loading startup) then using -nodx, but with THIS VERSION of Ragehook: 0.7.525.2325.

I've also updated the hook, please try the latest version as well if you want.

guys the issue has been found just install this VC++ 2010 redist installed: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13523 thanks lms since he found the problem :)
