K9 is really easy to code, they already had a mod in gta4. It wasn't made by the same devs though. But my father was a K9 unit for 15 years and then detective and patrol for the last 5. I love the k9 idea but can't stand how unstable it was in gta4. Any update on multiplayer? What's the deal with that?

I'd like the ability to buy a donut, but then take the donut and deep fry it, then sprinkle some sugar on top, and then use another donut and make a sandwich, add some bacon in there and then add a bit of honey on top for good measures..then i'd like to feed this to people i capture as a torture tactic...while greeting them with a "hi yaaa'll"

I did and I got that so I hope the GTA V mod will be simple but simple in a 'it works and is amazing' way.

I get where they're coming from. Money is harder to get in this game if you haven't played the SP missions. So there probably be a 3rd party mod/script that will come out, but doesn't need to be in the main mod.

I think it easy to code in GTA V, there are dogs, and they do attack, we just need some coding to order the dog to follow you and attack and so on :) so i do think its pretty easy.. but what do i know, i am not a coder ;)

I could probably write a script up fast if they don't do it. It would have to be an on cursor event. Not hard at all. Does gta 5 have german shepherds?

Been reading this CRAP for days now!!! FIRST... This kind of modding is not supported in any way by Rockstar. SECOND... To imply that illegal or stolen copy are not supported, is already in-forced by Rockstar. There is no need to tell your followers that you don't support it. We all know what where doing here. 91% of people using and supporting your software... Don't have a legal copy. THIRD... yesterday i saw a moderator i think write in anger.. That the mod is done when it's done the year it's done stop asking bla bla bla, not nice. You should be glad people are so eager to see your work. You have given this game a second and eternal life, the is no need to treat their impatience like that. Their the ones taking about your mod saying how great it is. That how I heard about it a few years back. A beta could have been released by now, but that's your decision. And for you guys to immediately change your tones after that guy wrote "the mod is done when it's done the year it's done stop asking" is weak! You did nothing wrong. Keep asking stay anxious, if they want to release it December next year next month... we'll all be waiting right here. And if they wanna get angry and stop development... we'll remember you as one of the greatest modders all time.

I just can't wait to see good damn AI that don't SMASH YOUR CAR TO GET PRIMARY IN A PURSUIT. I really want a partner that stands at the driver side door of the cop car with his hand on his gun while you do a stop. Like they do in real life if they have 2 to a car. So if you get shot at they engage and actually help out instead of run off and die. But I also hope they're not too over powered/under powered

​Calm young one, they'll release it when it's done. They just want a good initial release, I posted something about the topic you should read, everyone needs to calm down. Don't over do the hype but still be hyped while the mods need to do their job too but not be Nazis about it neither.

I'm sure someone will model in the actual thing. I teach police dogs, from puppies to deployment. I can say they are the best most loyal dogs on the face of this earth. 10/10 would German Shepherd again.

Sadly I'm running a version I didn't buy. I don't have 60$ but am planning on buying it if and when I can. It's just a lot of money for a kid. :p

​I mean, german and belgian shepherds aren't that different visually (and belgians are also used as police dogs) so a simple reskin could do.

​That kind of statistical statement has no base in reality at all. We tell people to buy the game and use a legal copy of the game, becuase we develop the mod for a legal copy of the game. We can't support a version of the game we're not using ourselves. Of course, it's not supported by Rockstar, but that has little meaning to us. 

That would be me, and no, it wasn't in "anger" it was more of a factual statement; It is done when it's done, same as any other G17 Media product. We don't release a relase date because we don't want to disappoint people if we have to change the release date. Without releasing a release date, we're free to release it when we're confident it's finished. 

Of course we are glad people are eager to use the modification, but we're not forcing anyone to use it either. The impatience is fun as long as it is encouraging, but when it goes to the point it's disrespectful we need to put an end to it. The mod is released when it's released, that's the only release-statement you'll get (for now). 

We've said many a times not to ask for LSPDFR Updates, and we'll continue on this line, simply because the answer will always be the same. What've released so far is what has been said by Sam, LMS and posted on www.LSPDFR.com.
