That would be very cool to have. We could pull our wounded partner behind cover, and save him without being shot ourselves. I could see how it would be buggy though...

Yes you may be right on that.. But we can always hope for a feature like this :) i think it could be cool to pull AI officers away to save their lives...

I said this in another thread already, but if we want to add other lights to vehicles (such as traffic advisors) or use realistic lightbars (Whelen, Code3, etc.) we will need some sort of ELS just to make the lights work. Then there are light patterns and siren control, so I agree the vanilla GTA V lights look fine, but with ELS it will be just so much more realistic and better.

The ELS also adds more realistic feel when conducting a traffic stop...most traffic stops are initiated using only the lights (no siren), obviously when running code or in a pursuit they are used. Also after a call LE may sit in their vehicles for a few with the lights on with no siren. I say ELS it up!!!! Lol....also I would love to see some CVPI's and other "real" police model vehicles and skins. Can't wait to see what's what with LSPDFR

You said you made the AI not go on a  free for all like GTA IV is it possible to make it like GTA IV where they just go insane I love spamming backup and having 1000+ cop cars ramming everythign and noose and just jesus fun.

Sam, I will be patient and wait for the original mod that you guys are making, there is already a mod in progress on the gta5-mods.com website, but that mod is full of crashes and asi error. I hope u guys publish a mod without that shit, therefor I will wait for u guys instead. Do you guys know when the pre alpha release are gonna be yet? Or is this unknown by time? Best regards.

I think the lightbar animations in GTA V look really good for being vanilla. Don't get me wrong, I've been a very dedicated ELS user in GTA IV since they fixed the door bug, but that's because vanilla GTA IV's emergency lights animations/corona/bloom effects are laughable. 

 

If they include light mode toggling in LSPDFR like they did in LCPDFR, I will keep 5's vanilla light animations. Plus, it'll be easier on the system too with less outside material to render. 

​Agreed. GTA V police cars themselves are great. The only thing they could add is SAHP Buffalo's or Staniers.

You receive a pursuit call and as you arrive at the suspect vehicle (which is in most cases stuck), 3 cops with shotguns spawn on the head of the car and kill the driver. And it's buggy as hell. Red dots keep spawning on the map and as soon as you arrive they teleport to somewhere else. <.<

​Had the same experience haha, no one can do it right other than the team here it seems.
