SWAT 4: The Stetchkov Syndicate

I own the Gold edition with Swat 4 + Expansion for the PC though. A great game, but sometimes the AI was not so tactical about things, and controlling them was not the easiest thing.

Whats your fav loadout?

EDIT: I also believe that the expansion also made things a lot harder, one thing I noticed, was that if you get sidetracked in hunting down a loose suspect, the one who previously was subdued, but not zip-cuffed picked up their weapon again, and shot me in the back.

  • Up to this day I still believe Fairfax was the most enjoyable while disturbing mission. I strongly recommend we keep the spoilers about the mission's ... delicate parts for ourselves, though, since it

its not the best game in the world but it damn sure does the trick lol. my loadout depends on the mission but i usually use the the UMP45 as primary with the Glock 17 or 19 with FMJ as secondary.... i also usually use flashbangs and one stinger and have the breaching chargers. expansion really made it harder but you can work around it when you get a routine going or a rhythm lol. my buddy and i used to play it a long time ago and now we started back up again. if u ever get bored and want to play lemme know and well do one

for the PC my Steam is Faracus, and xfire is livingtorment. I'm down for playing it.

My loadout for longer range is the OC Pepperball gun, with tazer. Pepper Spray, stingers and opti wand.

CQB is the bean bag shotty, tazer, OC Gas, pepper spray, opti.

o see we use hamachi to create an IP and do a direct connect through the IP.... im not sure how we would do it the other way since weve never done it but lemme ask around. and u go for the non lethal huh? :P

Port forwarding.

Don't worry if you don't understand it, took me a while to learn how to do it properly

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

yes, port forwarding can be annoying, but there is a whole website devoted to teaching port forwarding, and even gives specific steps on tons of different routers. Personally when I used Hamachi I found it unstable, and didn't like to work all the time.

I do prefer non-leathal, as that is how S.W.A.T prefers to opperate, unless the conditions dictate that they need to go lethal, I have been known to pick up the M16 from time to time.

i feel ya. our SWAT team here doesnt really carry non lethal except for the grenade launcher and beanbags

I personally dislike that site, I for one do not know the make of my router, It's just lucky Its a Sky Broadband one, I just have to log into it through my browser, google what ports the program I want to add uses, make a new service for it, then add it to my inbound services.

Took me three weeks to get my TS3 server to work, found out I'd put it as an outbound service *facedesk*

@FireSheriff - Seeing as you are in the US, you most likely don't have Sky Broadband, therefore you'll have to find out how to access your router from your PC, should be the same steps though once you do get into it

Sky Broadband is a Internet Service Provider in the UK,

Alright, seeing as it took that long to use SparkIV, I'd stay well away from Port Forwarding, changing the wrong setting can seriously screw your router.

yea lol. which is why i stayed with hamachi... it was easy for me to use... install hit the little power button..... join my friends server and direct connect using the IPv4 address given by hamachi

OMFG! I was trying to remember the name of that mission last night before going to bed-anyone remember that "Hologen Research Facility" (I believe thats what it was)? Army of Faith? Goddarn,I could never get past that mission with my at most one team member left alive.Or worse-I was alone and injured, badly. But I remember to score highest of all,in that one.99/100.

I agree, it can be quite fun, and it's a break from the fast paced shoot 'em up's. I love the tactical style, and sometimes I do get caught going to fast, and I pay for it. Sometimes though I think your teams AI is not so tactical, and there are some missions I tell them just to hang back as I go lone wolf on them, but with the expansion making the game a little more challenging even in the regular missions, I don't think the Team member AI moved up, and they end up getting killed or wounded keeping you from a perfect 100/100 score.

The mission with those texts "I am transformed" etc. on the walls is pretty damn creepy.. playing it atm.
