Why I decided from using ELS from now on.

Featured Replies

The reason why I uninstalled ELS was because I missed the moments of realism it brings. For example, when your in a shootout, I used to love when the suspects shoot at your car leaving loads of bullet marks. I also missed the sensation of caution when driving/responding to a call as the lights don't auto-repair your vehicle. Sure ELS makes pretty lights, but I enjoy the thrill of non ELS gameplay. I support LCPDFR's official lighting system. What do you guys think of ELS, does it effect your experience?

1. Could ELS be better? Yes!

2. Does it ruin my current gaming experience? No!

3. Will I disable it? No!

4. Would I replace ELS with Sam's v2.0 Illumination mod when its ready? Yes!

I think that ELS makes the LCPD:FR experience what it is. Personally I could care less about bullet holes or broken glass. I'd rather have my lightbar flashing like a rave while I'm chasing after a suspect. Although it is somewhat unstable (V6) I think ELS is awesome. I've never used the normal IV light system and never will. I agree 100% with Nutt and that ELS could be better but I'll take it any day over the normal white/red rotatory lights. I still drive with caution when responding or chasing. ELS doesnt make me drive like a mad man and crash into everything. I get more of a thrill with ELS

Nice to see your opinion guys. As there is news that Lt.Caine will be returning to make ELS for Gta V I might consider installing it for GTA V.

Dido!

@wmai20, no one even know for sure what's going on as far as GTAV goes, they can talk all they want, but nothing will truly happen until the game comes out, don't get your hopes up bud

Mind if I ask why? It's a valid topic.

Nutt's post quoted and edit to suit my thinking:

1. Could ELS be better? Yes!

2. Does it ruin my current gaming experience? Yes!

3. Will I disable it? No!

4. Would I replace ELS with Sam's v2.0 Illumination mod when its ready? Yes!
