Adding texture to CVPI in Zmodeler

Featured Replies

Quick question. Do objects automatically come with textures or do they have to be added separately?

Do you mean object that you download from others off the internet? If so, then sometimes they come with textures, sometimes they don't, you'll have to check to see if the model has one or not.

If you mean about creating a new object yourself in your modelling program, then no, they do not come with textures. You will need to UV map your new object and then create a texture for it and apply it to the object.

For example: I have imported a Toughbook model into a CVPI. In zmodeler it shows no textures, but would it show up with textures in-game?

The toughbook comes textures.

You have to import the textures before you import the model, otherwise you have to manually assign each one (which is a massive pain in the ass). If there's no textures in Zmodeler, there's none in-game either.
