What is the world events in lcpdfr 0.95rc2

Featured Replies

world events are random policing activities that spawn near you as you move throughout the gameworld.

The most common is just the foot pursuit, generally an ai cop is chasing a ped and will arrest them when they catch up.

The second most common is the public intoxication which is just a drunk guy falling over the place that you can arrest or cite.

The rarest is the pursuit in progress which is exactly as the name suggests, ai police will be chasing a car and you can choose to join the pursuit if you get close enough.

You can use the alt-f12 menu to force a world event to occur.

Ekalb explained it. If you didnt mess with your .ini then you already have it enable. It should say "2" next to "Max number of world events". Then when your on patrol watch for white dots on the map, if you want to participate just go closer and it will turn red meaning your interacting with that event. For pursuits you have to catch up and press "E" when your close to the suspect car (it will say what to do on the screen). I've had maybe 2 world event pursuits in the 7 months I've been playing this. The drunken person or foot pursuit is nothing special but I think its still cool, it adds to the realism of the game. ALT+F12 generates a event like Ekalb said.
