Recommended Handling CVPI and V8 engine Sound

Featured Replies

Can anyone here recommend either a good overall handling line for the Ford CVPIs, (some addon cars from the file library tend to flip over real easy) and also a nice sounding V8 engine sound?

Hearing the motor rev up like when watching real world Code 3 responses would be great.

Thanks for the information guys.

Go on sgt. kanyo's handling line topic, pretty much all of those are perfect. And for a good engine sound, I personally use the polpat's sound.

completely forgot about that thread too good point out sir!

heres the link for that

Yeah if you wanna go for realism I'd say go for my CVPI handling + using the Patriot's ingame sound or the Coquette's. Personally I think the Patriot's sound in hood camera sounds the closest to the CVPI. (still very far from it, but that's as good as it gets in GTA)

To get the patriot's sound in GTA IV, all you have to do is change the "ingame name" parameter in vehicles.ide to POLPAT (or COQUETTE) like so:

police,        police,        car,        POLICE,        POLPAT,        VEH@STD,    VEH@STD_RI1,        100,    999,        0.2345, 0.2345,        0,    2,    1.0    ,1,    ext_requi+ext_strong+livery
