Crashes during callouts

Featured Replies

Recently I keep getting a lot of crashes. LCPDFR.log doesn't log the crash, and AdvancedHook.log only gives the well known 0xc0000005. However I did some checking in the Event Viewer and I found out that there's a stack for it, which looks like this:

Application: EFLC.exe
Framework Version: v4.0.30319
Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.
Exception Info: System.AccessViolationException

Is there a fix for this? I usually get this when I arrive on scene. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.

If you mean uncheck read only, then yes. Yes I'm running as admin, not missing anything, and tbh way too many mods to write them down.

I'm not sure yet, but this could actually be a problem with lcpdfr. Note how the game crashes when a ped spots me (APed.HasSpottedCharInFront) during an lcpdfr callout (LCPDFR.Callouts.Callout.Process).

It's possible that a modification is conflicting with LCPD:FR, and causing LCPD:FR to crash.  Try reinstalling LCPD:FR manually, in case one of your modifications overwrote a LCPD:FR file (i.e. AdvancedHook). Did this start happening as soon as you changed something in your game?

Also, can you post your LCPD:FR diagnostics tool, AdvancedHook and Scripthook logs?

I've updated my lcpdfr to 1.1 right before I made this thread. This bug was present in 1.0d and it is present in 1.1 as well. No, this did not happen after I installed something.

Here's my advancedhook (even though I did mention it only contains the C0000005):

"The Native function named SWITCH_RANDOM_TRAINS " and "VehStructInstance false" errors are caused by vehicles.  Corrupt vehicles are due to:

  1. Bugged Modified Vehicles; Replace with originals and reinstall one at a time to find problem.
  2. LCPD:FR was installed incorrectly; Completely uninstall LCPD:FR and anything related.
  3. Vehicles are saved in parking spot; Use different save or uninstall modified vehicle.
  4. Bad mods are causing problem (as already stated), install each mod one at a time and validate with 30 minutes of gameplay.
  5. ELS AdvancedHook incompatability; install LCPD:FR manually and delete AdvancedHookInit.asi
  6. GTA IV's scenery is corrupted, reinstall GTA IV.

I am having a similar issue with 1.1, I answer a callout, and arrive on scene, sometimes the NPC's are there, sometimes not. If they are there they are marked as red blips, as normal, but nothing else happens, they don't do anything, just behave like normal NPC's would, and nothing will resolve the callout, they yellow circle stays around the area, no matter what happens.

This happens with all callouts, I have looked through the diagnostic tool's logs and It says something like:

[Warning - 8:42:43 PM] [script.Calloutmanager] EndCurrentCallout: No Callout Running

I'm assuming that the callout failed to load it's scenario data or something like that, don't quote me on this though.

if anyone can help me with this issue, please post a solution.

I'm only using my own car mods, and tbh if these don't work, then no modded cars ever will. They don't have any bugs afaik. Getting rid of my car mods is not a solution, since I'd have lost interest in GTA in years if I couldn't mod my cars. I don't have any modded cars in my save spot, and if I did I'd constantly get SMPA60 error after I leave the vicinity of the house. Like I mentioned before these callouts work most of the time, so I don't know what would cause my game to crash. Most of those calls won't even spawn any vehicle, so really I don't see what could be the problem.
