Did you save your game whilst on duty or attempt to complete any of the story missions?

Try removing your gamesave by moving it to another location before trying again.

I tried to remove the game save, but it still have the same result.

This usally happens with cracked games but i'm not sure of it have you downloaded any car mods player models or anything else if so try to delete those if that doesn't work reinstall EFLC and reinstall LCPDFR.

Do not re-install just yet. Are you using a cracked game?

Also, go into your root directory and look for "xlive.dll" and also "dsound.dll" if you have both delete one of them, if you plan on using online, either on or off duty, delete xlive.dll as xlive.dll removes the ability to play online.

Does the game crash during the loading screen?

Hey mate, I'm not trying to be rude here but there are multiple other reasons why this problem may be occurring and it seems to me like your taking wild guesses. Re-installing the game is not the only solution and you haven't even given the guy a chance to respond to the other options that were suggested earlier.

Well before I got the actual game I tried it with a crack after reinstalling it and getting Dsound again it eventually worked

so thats all i'm saying because it worked for me.

The issue with this is, Cracks aren't supported, Whats so ever, So work arounds are pretty much treated the same way.

I don't think your understanding me, NO Cracks are supported with LCPDFR, Whats so ever, If you have a illegal copy of the game, And your having issues, Thats your fault, And if this guy is using a crack, This topic will be Locked due to Cracks/Illegal copy of the game, Regardless of what type of crack he is using...

He's using dsound, that does not work on cracked versions afaik.

Hi there i have a similar problem, but i do not have a cracked version. The Game would crash after a short time or right at the beginning.

I had a look into the "ScriptHookDotNet.txt" and it would show me a few errors. I have a german version so some text will be in german.

Anyways this is what it says:

You say you have cars installed. Are they ELS enabled? What slot are they in, e.g "police" "police2" "fbi"?

No I don't think it will. You need .net 4 and C++ to even start LCPDFR. Read my post above yours and answer my questions.
