Nice choice of graphics card. I have the same R7 250x.

Runs at about 35+ FPS for me since GTA IV has bad optimization.

Sometimes I do get high FPS when my PC feels like to (lol)

Can't you go for a R9 instead? You will get high FPS without recording but recording will drop about 8 FPS. Happened to me :/

Although I am going to build a new PC with a gtx 760 ^^

It's really similiar to the PC I built a few months back, the biggest difference is i opted for a Nvidia 750 (which i think is a wicked budget card, but I've always been in Nvidia's pocket.) In GTA 4 on high settings @ 1920x1080 I get any where from 35-50FPS. My average is some where in the mid to high 40s. Making GTA 4 the 2nd worst running game in my whole library, despite its age. I've honestly not used any ENBs, so i can't say what kind of performance hit they usually take. As for recording I accidentally hit overwolf's record function the other day and it dropped my frames down to 28 FPS, However I'd never honestly use that program for recording as the GPU I'm running has a built in capture function. I tested it out before making this post real quick and i didn't lose any frames while recording using Nvidia's Shadow Play functionality.

Outside of GTA 4 I've never failed to be impressed with the performance you can squeeze out of a $100 GPU, but having said that I don't think my preference in games are extremely GFX intensive. I've played the following games on this machine Fallout, Saints Row, GTA, Guild Wars 2, Civilization, Mass Effect, Euro Truck 2, Dark SIders, Dead Island, and GRID Autosport. All on High or better and maintained a steady 50+ frame rate with V-Sync turned on.

This is essentially my computer except mine has a FX-4300 and a Nvidia GTX 750ti OC Edition. I run the Game4Videos ENB and i get usually about 30-50fps depending.

If you use any of my skins in a YouTube video, please let me know. I would love to see it. output_hzFinh_zps2w8whjkq.gif

thanks. i well now be getting an Alienware Desktop

Please dont get alienware, if your going prebuilt pick cyberpower, it is way more reasonably priced, with alienware you pay 3x more for a "alien'' look and a bunch of cool lights. People might say cyberpower is bad, but remember, generally people with good experiences dont right reviews. I got my first gaming pc in 2010 from them, no shipping problems, and it still works to this day. (although now i built my own pcs :P)

If you want to go with a pre-built computer from one of the big companies, I'd recommend Asus from personal experience they're hard to beat when it comes to prices, and I've never had a problem with their products. (It's been a few years since I bought one so they might have gone up, but i doubt it.) I've never had an alienware myself, but they're owned by Dell and that makes me very weary of their products. I've owned 3 of Dell's laptops. 2 top of the line XPS and one mid range, they were all junk that suffered from constant part failures... plus like previous poster said Alienware is actually the one company I know of that's way over priced. 5 years ago when I was looking at alienware Asus was selling the same machine for half the price.
