What buttons do you use on your controller for which actions?

Featured Replies

Complicated title, I know.

What I am wondering is what actions are binded to what buttons on your controller (in LCPDFR). I am looking for a good setup for my controller for LCPDFR

Just make sure to make your subject something along the lines of what you are looking/asking for.

Should all be in the user documentation PDF.

"You tell me exactly what you want, and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be."

I use a controller but I would take two pages to explain. If you can't find anything message me and I'd be glad to help :D

Hey bud! A solution for you:

Tools needed:

'?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

So, using Xpadder and the tutorial video, try some keybindings I suggested:

Up on DPAD = J            | These are your  ELSV8 controls.  Up on DPAD = Light Stages. Down is Siren, Left is manual siren, and right is airhorn.

Down on DPAD = G      |

Left on DPAD = T         |

Right on DPAD = Y       |

Left Arrow (Next to Xbox Live button) = The key you used to assign to the left indicator on the indicator script

Right Arrow (Next to Xbox Live button) = The key you used to assign to the right indicator on the indicator script

Xbox Live button: I'd use scroll lock (disables all ELS keys until you press it again), because the Down on the DPAD is conflicts with LCPDFR when you use X + Down to call in a pursuit.

As for the Xbox controller support, go to C:Program Files (x86)Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IVLCPDFRLCPDFR.ini and find:

AlwaysForceKeyboardInput=True

And set it to:

AlwaysForceKeyboardInput=False

Then Hold CTRL + F and type in 'Controller' without the quotes. Then scroll down to view the keybindings. For example, the following code would mean you'd have to hold 'Left Shoulder' and tap 'A' to accept an LCPDFR callout.

AcceptCallout=A
AcceptCalloutModifierKey=LeftShoulder
