I'll keep it short and simple, so it's easy for you to read.

Description of Crash/Problem: So, I was casually playing as you do until my game crashed, which understandably will occur. That is not the issue however. Once it crashed a window popped up telling me LCPDFR had crashed and that it was trying to restore me to the last saved point in my patrol. I let it do it's thing then relaunched GTA IV. It loads in as normal and I load my latest save, spawning inside my safehouse as Nico. I see that for around a second or so then it goes to a black screen saying "Loading..." in the bottom right hand corner and crashes, repeating the above process. I can't play the game unless I remove LCPDFR. I do have a few mods installed but it runs perfectly fine with them, until today when this happened.

What version of LCPDFRLCPDFR Version 1.0d (hotfix 1)

What Version of GTA IV/EFLC: Latest version (I own the game on Steam so it automatically updates if needed).

What Extra Mods are Installed: Los Angeles Emergency Services pack, vdH Police Helper, vdH Towing script, vdH Medical Examiner/METT, Traffic Flow script.

Attached Error Logs: Attached the log files below.

If any more information is needed, please contact me right away as I would like to get back to playing. Thanks in advance.

Are you still having this problem? When your game started reloading itself after it crashed did u interrupt the process?

For me, once it restores I appear in my house for a split second and then goes to the blank loading screen you described and it then starts me where the game crashed. All this happens without me pushing anything.

I can't read logs but wanted to try to see if it was something more simple. Someone should be around soon to help more thoroughly :)

This crash is common with .ASI files, usually AdvancedHookInit.asi and ELS.asi.  Check if these are in your folder, delete them if present, and then try starting.

If this post solves your problem, please mark "Best Answer" so this thread is indicated as solved.

Thanks, I'll give this a go now and get back to you on whether it works or not.

Edit: No luck. Deleted both of the named files above and still does the same thing.

Mine does exactly the same as yours, apart from when the blank loading screen appears it'll crash.

When it crashes while restoring, the Error Reporter should tell you about it and ask you whether you'd like to cancel the recovery process. Assuming you got the last Error Reporter version in your LCPDFR folder (08 Jan 2015). Does this happen for you?

Also you can simply delete oldsession.fr from your game root folder to disable restoring.

Please do not PM me unless really necessary (knowing you helps). If you think you need my attention in a topic, tag me.

It does not happen, no. I don't have the option to cancel the recovery process.

I've deleted oldsession.fr, so I'll try that.

Hm okay. Do you have the latest Error Reporter then (08 Jan 2015)?

Works when I delete the file, however now I have an issue where when I receive a callout, it says "LCPDFR has stopped working" etc. and this bing sound keeps playing.

And about the error reporter, I'm not sure. I'll download it now.

Did you delete the savegame.fr file as well? Usually I delete that and the oldsession.fr file and it fixes the problem. Also the I use the vdh mods as well, but because they are not longer being updated they can cause the crashes as well.
