Too much disregard

Recommended Posts

Iv been playing GTA IV LCPDFR for awhile. But whenever I get a callout its mostly disregard (im like SOOOOO happy if I actually get one that's not...so its like that rare :/   ) Is there a way to change it?

On the LCPDFR configure I changed min and max seconds for a callout

Min:10

Max:20

But ALOT are still disregard

My specs are

Intel ® Core TM i5-3450 cpu @ 3.10 GHz

4.00GB (3.20 GB usable)

32-bit Operating syste,, 64x based processor

Windows 8 :)

Disregard is actually just what LCPDFR does if it fails to correctly set up a callout (if some peds don't spawn or are immediately despawned, if flags aren't set right, etc.) If you're getting a lot of "Disregard" messages, it probably means your system specs aren't high enough (which causes IV to have resource issues, which causes callouts to not get set up properly).

thanks for answering that as i have that issue occassionally. it's always for a call that appears across the bridge and its usually the Gruppe 6 armoured car robbery. let me ask though, would changing some of the settings in the gta iv menu help? like decreasing shadows, etc. or is it strictly a "power" issue with the computer internals. thanks in advance :D

While cp702 is right, it can be caused also by too much congestion.  If you have a customized popcycle.dat, cargrp.dat, or any other traffic modification such as trafficload.asi, remove them and your problem might be solved.
