Hello,

 

My gta keeps crashing when i am using the lcpdfr mod.  It is unpredictable, it could crash right after choosing the police car, or ten minutes after during a traffic stop.

I have no idea why. The mods i use are gun mods and sounds, some police car mods, els, lcpdfr, indicators, simple native trainer, and police helper.

 

Specs:

Windows 8.1

AMD Radeon  7770 graphics card

8 GB Ram

Intel Core i3-3240 @3.40GHz (In the process of upgrading to dual core i5-670 @ 3.46GHz)

500 watt power supply

Directx11

 

The game seems to run fine (fps wise) with my current specs, but again why is it crashing?

It's most likely crashing due to the amount of mods you have. Every mod you add to the game, the more unstable it gets.. especially with high poly car mods. You should try limiting the amount of mods you put into your game =)

 

However there might be a problem with the mod or something else that caused the crashing, so could you attach your LCPD:FR log file?

It's in your GTA 4 directory, It's a text document called LCPD:FR (if you did the Auto install it will be under he LCPD:FR user guides) 

To find the log, just search for "log" in the GTA IV directory.  As for your problem, it is probably caused by ELS AI.  Try disabling cruise lights, ClearRandAiExtrasSp, Ai_Els, and changing your ASI loader.  These steps typically solve instability problems with ELS.  If that doesn't work, please post ALL relevant logs.
