Textures Not Loading After LCPDFR Startup- Please Lock!

Featured Replies

EDIT: Never mind about LCPDFR being a possible cause for this problem; the whole game gets wonky with textures not loading, including IVDashCam and the FirstPerson mod along with textures. The problems seem to be sporadic, so I think its best for me to attempt to get support in the modifications board. If its possible, could you move it there?

Hey guys, I have an error that may correlate with LCPDFR; after choosing a model, I get an unusually long loading screen, and once I return and load back to choose my car, the loading times become long. Once I spawn back outside, the textures are not loaded, and when driving around, they load very slowly. When this problem started, I hadn't installed any new mods, and the only program I installed, (and subsequently uninstalled) was WeGame. First of all, my system specifications:

AMD A6-3650

MsI Radeon HD 6770 1GB

Kingston 1600 4GB RAM

I understand that a similar problem was brought up here on the support forum, but the person with the problem had only 2GB RAM.

Modifications:

LCPDFR 0.95RC2, SNT 6.3, IVDashCam V2.1, ELS V6 (AI lights off), TrafficLoad 1.2, 3MB FBI car modification, 1MB polpatriot car modification

Any support is greatly appreciated. I must reiterate that I had not installed any new modifications when the problem started. Is it possible that residual information from WeGame (C++ Redistributable 2008, for example), would be the issue? Thanks for any support. I'll attach the diagnostics dump if it is necessary.

I can acknowledge that I have installed a few additional modifications rather recently. What I meant by saying that I didn't install any new modifications when the problem started is that I had gone through multiple playthroughs of LCPDFR with all of the modifications mentioned before the problem started. I do not think the additional modifications should be a reason for the error, as even when they are not spawned, and I am not using them, the problem persists. I also must add that I cannot select more than three player models now. I

If I force LCPDFR to start, the problem is nonexistent. I think it has something to do with teleportation between the lawyer's office and the outside of the station.

Are you using high poly cars? Did you change the skins of your cars?

As I've said in my original post, the total size for my fbi car modification's .wtd and .wft files is 3MB, and my polpatriot modification's total size is about 1MB, compared with about 700KB for each original file's size.

EDIT: I have not changed any skins for the car modifications.

Take the car models out and revert to original settings. If this fixes the issue, it's the 3rd party mod doing it to you. If there's nothing further, I'll close the topic if I don't get a response tomorrow.

Well, I managed to fix the problem. It had to do partially with LCPDFR, and partially with the Traffic Fix. All I needed to do was set PreLoadAllModels to equal True, and to *properly* install TrafficFlowV5. You can close the thread now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
