Hi there, this is just a question for everyone using LCPDFR RC2. When your in a pursuit and you press the F11 key for pursuit noose assistance does your game crash?.

Not all the time but it's fairly common, especially if you press the NOOSE requests multiple times.

Do you happen to have any car mods installed over the slots that NOOSE use? (polpatriot, fbi and pstockade)

This most likely has to do with ELS. This is because LCPDFR doesn't really know how to handle ELS, and vice-versa (I have yet to find a good way to explain this lol). When LCPDFR tries to control the ELS lights, it sometimes messes up and crashes the game. It is for this reason that I do not have ELS-enabled vehicles for police, police2, ambulance, and firetruck, and also why I only call in regular backup during pursuits.

The reason why the vehicles listed above are non-ELS is because they commonly spawn in-game (ambulance and firetruck only if you use TrafficFlow v5), and can cause crashes (mostly when another mod tries to do something with the lights).

ELS Yes. Or having high poly cars or many mods installed that your computer cannot support. But most of the time it would be high poly cars that your PC may not be able to support. The crash is pretty common, but I guess you can try it out for once and also try to call for Air Support and see if anything occurs.

Nobody is "scared" of using it.

We just cannot be bothered with the constant crashing due to the fact its unstable.

With ELSv6 and everything configured properly I have never had an ELS related crash and I have all police cars modded with high poly ELS models. Even with that large hove beach shootout call ELS won't crash. It slows framerate by a lot but never crashes. Even in pursuits with a ton of officers chasing. I see more often than not suggestions to remove ELS instead of making sure ELS is configured properly. I understand that some systems can handle it better than others but no ELS would almost be a deal breaker for me. I am so glad it works for me.

Keep in mind that both LCPDFR and ELS are mods. Some people get lucky and everything works perfectly, and hey, thats great! But not everyone gets lucky like that.

UPDATE: Ok so Iv tested the ELS Noose and FBI cars with LCPDFR and It was seem to be the root of the problem. When I uninstalled everything and re installed just two els cars (police 1, police 2,) and an ELS ambulance, the F11 key worked fine. It only crashed once in ONE week of playing but i think thats because i accidently hit it twice. Also, the game worked fine with a Non ELS Noose crown vic and I will be testing tomorrow with a Non ELS FBI crown vic - but im sure it will work just fine.

Good to know. However, I cannot get rid of my ELS. Maybe..just maybe I'll go non els fbi,noose,polpatriot since noose backup picks from those at random.
