So this article came to my attention and I wanted to share it with you guys.

 

Seriously I don't how we can combat this as law enforcement. We can't ban guns. It's impossible.

I highly doubt this news story is true, while anything is possible, this news story seems pretty fake.

It's f*cked up someone would even think of that.

People will think of more ways to kill a fellow man every day. Nothing we can do about it. We take away guns, They have knifes. Take away those, They got their hands.

They will always find a way... And yes, I Don't think taking guns away from the US would end well ;)

Well, they have evidence to back their story up.

Or you can be even more basic and just spray paint the tip orange. Or mold an orange piece of plastic over the muzzle.

Another man in Ohio did this, he painted his pistol all red. Just as a new law in Ohio came out about airguns and such to be painted bright colors. He was caught later with his gun and 9 grams of "dat sweet white gold" (cocaine). No matter what laws we put out in place cops are most likely shoot first and ask questions later, all in an effort to get back home safely. So don't point your shit at cops people.

Well, they have evidence to back their story up.

That's not actually evidence. That's a post from a Facebook group run by a couple deputies, which is not in any way official. They didn't recently seize the weapon pictured; this is fairly certain, because that exact picture appeared on a New York TV station a couple years ago. There's no source that's ever been attached, except mentions of it happening in Indianapolis, but the Indianapolis police have said that the picture didn't start with their department (the Snopes people think it was probably an email circulating among cops, not a "here's something we actually saw" but a "look at this".
