Disabling Dispatch Sound in 1.0c?

Featured Replies

I have a question/for me a serious problem for 1.0+.  Is there any way to disable police radio chatter completely?  "All Text Mode" doesn't seem to have any affect.  I've tried to delete the entire LCPD:FR audio folder but to no avail (errors regarding the sounds not being there).  Please any help?  The dispatch clicks and loud chatter make my ears bleed ;(

DisableRandomPoliceChatter=True will disable the random chatter, but I'm not sure about the dispatch. Have you tried...turning your volume down?

Would I have to put that in the commandline.txt or is there somewhere that I can find that option? (Manual Install) I've been using LCPDFR for quite some time now but didn't know I could disable the random chatter.

It goes in LCPDFR.ini, not all of the options are there by default. If you use the diagnostics tool, there are check boxes for more options that might not originally be in LCPDFR.ini. This mainly applies to settings added in the updates to 1.0.

There is no DisableRandomPoliceChatter=True in the LSPDFR.INI
