WAAFFS reacted to Reddington in Recommended handlingIds for your police vehiclesSo you downloaded a fancy 2015 Tahoe and installed it in the police3 slot, only to find that it rolls more than your eyes when your boss is talking to you. Does your Silverado not drive like a truck should? or maybe your '15 Charger doesn't feel right. There are a lot of options to choose from when deciding which handlingid you want to use for your car. I've compiled a list of what I use for handling lines, and thus far, all have worked just fine. For some of them, such as the Silverado and Expedition, someone else might of found a better handling, and if that's the case, please comment below letting me know what you're using and I'll give it a shot.
Some people like to edit the handling.meta. This is not a requirement, the handlingid is all you need to touch if you just want the basics. Handling.meta is there for those who know a bit about modding and want to refine the handling lines to feel realistic.
For those that might be confused on what the handlingid is, it's one of the top lines in the vehicles.meta.
Here's an example:
<handlingId>police3</handlingId>
All of these will be for police vehicles, I will not be covering modded civilian cars. Also note that this topic really only applies to those who have modded their police fleet.

WAAFFS reacted to FIB Gotham City Division in delete this topicLooks like it all begins at
4/2024 4:35:01 PM.457] LSPD First Response: [TRACE] [CONSOLE] Rage.Exceptions.InvalidHandleableException: Operation is not valid because the specified Rage.Ped is invalid. I believe that the plugin tries to determinate if a ped is dead or alive, as you can see further below.
As of that it causes a memory leak or something like that.
Did this happen once or does this happen frequently?

WAAFFS reacted to Gillius28 in Character stuck with a chainsaw????Hi everyone,
I've been playing LSPFR for a while now and have always been able to figure out my issues. Today however, the craziest thing happened. My character somehow keeps equipping a chainsaw when I get out of my patrol car and I cannot put it away or switch to any other weapons. This has made the game completely unplayable. Any ideas as to how this happened? I didn't even know GTA had a chainsaw!!!
Thanks!

Your topic has been moved to GTA V Support, this is not LSPDFR related.
Please post in the correct location in the future.

WAAFFS reacted to Teekay in Disabling Radio in Police CarI see that there is a menu to change station or turn off radio in police car, but is there a way to save that setting? Seems strange to me to have music playing while on patrol and listening to police radio.

I believe there were a few ways to mute or disable the ambient radio chatter in LCPDFR, but I haven't come across a way for this to be consistently done in LSPDFR?
I believe there were a few Time related settings with Simple Native Trainer that would accidentally mute this on occasion. The chatter is really repetitive and takes away from the immersion on patrol so I love for someone to figure out if this can be done?
