New Gaming Equipment!

Featured Replies

Hey so coming up to Christmas I'm thinking up upgrading my whole setup, including my PC and also my the equipment such as mouse, keyboard ,headset and also speakers and any other addons possible.

If anyone has any good recommendations or reviews/experiences with any equipment stated above I'd appreciate it hugely or any sites that are on sale.

Thanks!

Well, Not sure if you do any YouTube, But i bought a great Studio Microphone, For only 10 bucks. Sounds like a blue yeti :)

Besides that, I Recommend for a GPU, The GTX970 or 980 if you have alot of money to spend, If not then consider a 760, or 750TI

Very good cards!

I Personally have a GTX650SC and it does its job fine, I need a new CPU though lol

Let me know if you want a link to the mic!

And, As for speakers i have a LG SoundBar sitting above my monitor, It sounds great! The quality of a surround sound setup.

And, Headset wise, I Currently have a shitty turtle beach, That is not even made for pc. Has great audio quality, But the mic is shit, and it is the most painful thing to setup for pc.

To recommend a headset i would recommend a RedSamurai headset for xbox/pc Amazing audio quality with the price tag of only $25, You can pick it up at any local gamestop. Only reason i dont have one, Is because mine broke and they were out of stock at GS, so i just bought a TB.

Hope i helped out, Let me know if you need any links or such :P

I'm quite interested in a link to the mic. I've been wanting a studio style mic but I don't want to have to pay a buttload for it

I would recommend the r9 290x Lightning, cheaper than the 980 (150$) and its basically the same.

For my new PC, I will be getting dual, so ya there good cards.

For mic, you don't need to spend a lot of money.

Like TaylorSwift stated above, I talk to him on skype and his voice is crisp and clean with no caffeine.

Well, if you've got the $$$$$$$$$$douuuughhhh$$$$$$$$$$ then you should get the Sapphire R9 295x2. It's currently $750 right now and it's the best card you can get. Literally the best card you will ever have.

If you want a new processor and you got that $$$$$$$$$$douuuughhhh$$$$$$$$$$ then you could get the new i7-5820k. It's like $300 at MicroCenter right now.

If you don't got that $$$$$$$$$$douuuughhhh$$$$$$$$$$ let me know and I'll look at parts in your budget. :)

Yeah basically I want to have not just ''good'' GTA IV graphics, I want them to be insane and run the ultra high ENB's. So tbh I'm not sure where to begin. I'm prepared to wait till after Christmas for the sales too though.

Well, let's start off with a budget and a plan.

What are you thinking you want to upgrade? You're probably going to need a processor, mobo, GPU, and PSU for the important performance stuff.

What is your price range?

I just bought a AMD FX 8core (3.5GB), GeForce 760 2gb, 8gb RAM, 24' Pavilion 25XI LED IPS monitor, 70W Arion speakers and sub, all for just under $950 at Newegg.  Aside from building your own PC, hard to beat that pricing.

Computer is really fast and able to run all games on max settings without lag issues (GTAIV, GTAEFLC, LCPDFR, ARMAIII, Skyrim)...a lot of power for the money.

Good luck!
