Featured Replies

Hey guys and gals. I've been watching videos on LCPDFR For quite some time, and I'm finally making the move to build a PC. I've done some research but thought I'd reach out to the community here and see what you guys think. I'll attach a link at the end of the list just incase you want to see more of the specs.

PC- Intel pentium G3258 dual core 3.2ghz. Very overclockable

RAM-8gb

GPU- Saphire radeon R9 280 3gb dual X

HDD-1 TB

ASROCK motherboard and a 500w power supply bronze certified

Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance

Alright just wanted to make sure. Think I'd be ok running a simple ENB, like the the one for ELS. Looks like it's a small file, but the enhancement is amazing.

The processor is meh. RAM is okay. GPU is good. HDD is meh.

If you have any issues the processor or HDD is definitely the bottleneck. I'd recommend a better processor or a solid state but you should be okay.

Edit: Actually for GTA IV that processor should be good. That processor as far as I can tell is good for single-threaded operations and pants for multi-threaded operations. GTA IV doesn't utilize threads that well, so it might be a good CPU for this game.

I appreciate the help guys. Not sure what single threaded and multi threaded operations mean, but I'll research it. And I'll see what else I can find for a HDD
