remove GTA IV after installing EFLC?

Featured Replies

i have the CD version of GTA IV but i just purchased and downloaded EFLC. Should i uninstall the original GTA IV prior to installing LCPDFR? I couldnt really find a definite answer on this. thanks for your help.

You can have IV and EFLC...just be sure you install LCPDFR in the right files like EFLC download, bascially

PAY ATTENTION TO WHERE THE INSTALLER WANTS TO INSTALL IT

when it comes part where it says "C:\\Program files\rockstar games\Grand theft auto iv\" make sure you change it to where you want it...you can install on both if you so wish, but do it one at a time

I usually get my patches from Here for various games, as I'm an offline patcher kinda guy (hate those stinkin launchers that download patches themselves)

I usually -avoid- steam if possible, I mean I don't hate it, but steam can be buggy sometimes, not to mention games have issues with mods when they're steam-installed, and then of course there's the case where most games require steam running in the background while the application runs, which I dun like, it's an unnecessary process.

Shush Asuna ;P

I find steam alright synapt. Though it probably doesn't help me running GTA, I generally talk to people a lot and I haven't found any mod related problems due to steam yet.
